The Unrivalled Spangles is about two sisters, Ellen and Lucy, and their lives in their family circus. This tale starts off slowly, but is intense near the climax. Overall, it's a great book for anybody who enjoys stories about life, love, and the circus!!!

Code Orange is about a boy who accidentally inhales smallpox scabs from a previous epidemic, and is tortured by the thought that he may have gotten the disease. This book is intense and thrilling, and will keep you at the edge of your seat.

The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

Last summer as school came to a close I was in the mood for an amazing chick flick and out just then was The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants; a movie based on the novel by Ann Brashares.

A year later I decided based upon hearing that the book was much better than the movie, to read the book. For starters, if you're A. a girl and B. very cheesy, you'll love this book. However, if you're assuming that the movie and the book are the same, you're wrong; in today's society, Hollywood changes every book to suit the medium of film - which can be both a good and bad thing but that's for you to judge. Summer break has just begun and for the first time since they were born, Carmen's friends Lena, Bridget and Tibby are not going to be spending it together. Lena will be off in Greece; Bridget playing soccer in Mexico; Carmen in South Carolina with her dad; and Tibby at home working in a convenience store.
