Coming to TRAP

Hi Everyone! Thanks again for participating in the Teen Summer Reading Programme. Now that we’re closing down that blog, we’d like to invite all of you to join our newest volunteer service – the Teen Readers’ Advisory Panel. It works very much the same as the TSRP did – basically, our TRAP volunteers will read books, listen to CDs or watch DVDs in the MPL collection, write reviews and post their reviews on the TRAP blog. You can earn volunteer hours for your reviews. Anyone interested should email us at teens@markham.library.on.ca to register or get more information.

The End

Just to let you know, the TSRP blog is coming to an end. (Sad) But... as Catherine writes in her last post, if you liked posting your reviews, you must consider joining TRAP - you'll get to continue posting, reviewing, reading, interacting... and you can earn volunteer hours doing it. (Yay... Happy!)

Hope everyone had a good first couple of days back to school. Thanks again for making the TSRP a success and when you're in the library, be sure to come say hi!

Andrea.

2 New Reads

When is the official last day of the blog? Please let me know!!! At this point, i would probably do a review of another book. But since this is the last day before school, i'll keep things short and sweet. In the past few days, i've read two new books - The Order of the Poison Oak by Brent Hartinger, and The Mediator: Ninth Key by Meg Cabot. Pick them up, they're great reads!! Since this will probably be my last entry, i just wanted to say have a good year, everybody!! I hope you enjoyed the blog as much as i did!!

- Jenn :-)

Have a great day, tomorrow!

i will be wishing you all the best tomorrow.

Have a great day seeing all your friends!

Catherine

p.S. the library is very quiet during the day when you guys go back to school.
Actually, when school is on, we have one group of kids who come from a nearby school to do research at lunch.
