World Trade Center - Movie Review

Hi!

I went to see the movie, World Trade Center, this afternoon.

It was a bit different that I thought. the story focused on the day from the point of view, of the people who worked in the Port Authority of New York. It focused on two central characters and the time immediately thereafter.

I went with my husband and we thought it was okay but not Stone's usual style.

Someone had raised the issue was this disrespectful, not at all..

If you go, let me know what you think.

i think that the idea of the movie is disrespectful. some people's lives have really been affected by 9/11, and i think that this is just a cruel way of reminding them of everything that happenned. while it may be tastefully done, i think that it's too early to look back at the event - while it was 5 years ago, it still seems like yesterday. i think its still fresh in everybody's mind.

Jen,

The two characters survived which I think makes it okay.

Actually, it highlighted how the fire, police, port authority all worked together.
