Love, cajun style

this book is first and foremost a romance novel by Diane Les Becquets. It is about the summer of Lucy in her sleepy southern town. Everyday seems to be the same: hanging out with her 2 best friends and riding around on her bike. But things start to change as the summer wore on; her friends start falling into love, her mom starts being attracted to another man, her own mixed affections for her new dramma teacher, and the arrival of Dewey (a boy unlike anybody she known)...just a lot of love-dovey stuff going on. This book was okay, didn't hate it, but didn't like it either.

stephie,

You don't sound as enthusiastic as you have about some of your other entries.

yup, this book just didn't meet my interest, it wasn't as good as some other books i've read. but don't get me wrong, maybe other people will like it. The story line was kinda straight out romance, and i like books that are romance mixed with other stuff (like adventure/mystery/other problems involved). still, it was a good book =)

I am always interested in what you read.

i also like to know that you did not like the book.

I probably told this story before but when i took a literature course, the teacher told us if we did not like a book, we did not have to finish. this was unheard of for me. I learned over time when i have so much good literature to choose from, I will give up on a book that is not so great.
