book 2 of " 'nama beach high" series
laura duffy . she's got a driver's liciense, a car, and finds herself a job at the mall. also, she's in her school play... musical....whatever. well, thats good, right? not always. all goes well until she witnesses a shoplifting incident, and her car gets stolen- right from the parking lot. she is also getting all these messages in her locker from a "secret admirer". how was this person getting in to her locker? and why did the messages and what her teacher told her always link together? under the whole lot of pressure, she tries to ask god to help her.
i've read a lot of better endings to a book than this, but in the end everything ties up mysteriously- with a white silk rope.

You have me intrigued with the white silk rope.
this is one of those books where now knowing your little hint, I would probably cheat and read the end.
years ago, i would never have done that but one time, i took out a library book and the last three pages were missing. since then, I also check and make sure the end is there.
