Read As Much As You Can: Jul 3-Aug 19
Studies have shown that you can lose literacy skills if they go inactive for a length of time - say a summer break. MPL won't let that happen! Stay literate this summer with the Teen Summer Reading Program.

Log on to the TSRP blog and tell us about what you've been reading or you can post your comments on someone else's review
Just remember that we have to be respectful of others - the only other rule is HAVE FUN!

I think everyone wishes it was summer vacation again when the weather is warm and beautiful in september and october.
My kids used to feel the same way. They loved to see their friends who they had missed but then homework and projects set in and things were not as exciting.

i know the summer's closing in when i see those stupid back to school commercials on TV. but to be fair, this isn't always the best indicator, because they started on the first day of august. other than that, i would have to say that the weather cooling down is a big one, and for me, when my allergies start acting up, which is NOW! is it just me, or has the weather been way cooler in august this year than previous years? i remember the warm weather sometimes lasting until halfway through september.
