Whispers of War- Diary

This book is about the difficultites Susannah Merrit and her family go through during the war in 1812. Both her father who has a high ranking and the militarym and her brother a going to fight, mening that they wouldnt see eachother very often. During this time her eldest sister gets a baby, her second eldest sister is betrothed, her friend's father is convicted of not participating in the war and is fined $200. That was alot of money in their time!! She met some very special people and learned many new things about life, frinedship and war.
