The next two sets of questions are give aways. I will tell you why next week.

Hanging on to Max

13. What is the relationship between Sam and Max? Father and Son

14. What does Sam's girlfriend do? Give up Max, the baby

Again, without reading the end of the book, you would not know the ending which also surprised me. Next week, with the answers, I will tell you what happens.

The end also blew me away because after struggling so, Sam gave up Max.

All Loves Excelling

15. What is the title based on? A hymn and the song the school used in their performances.

16. Amanda and her mother have one goal. What is their goal? To get Amanda into a good school or college. Amanda was also preparing for a piano recital, all through the book.

Again, another one with an upsetting ending.

The end bothered me so much because Amanda actually killed herself because she was less than perfect, in her mind. She also had stopped eating.

I also did not like the fact that she fooled so many people and slipped through the cracks. this should not have happened especially in a school where the numbers were low and they were each assigned a counsellor. Her friends that she kept at a distance, had a clue but never pushed her.

Driver's Ed
