The Hobbit- J.R.R Tolkien
A fantasy tale about a young Hobbit named Bilbo who ventures on a journey to kill the evil dragon Smaug, current ruler of the great dwarve moutain. With a wizard and a band of homeless dwarves they face many dangers on the way from evil goblins to the gaint spiders. Also along the way finding the great ring made by the evil ruler Sauron this ring grants the person who wears it invisibility. A prelude to the epic motion picture trilogy from new line cinema.

i also found this book pretty dull... which led to the movies, which sorry to say, in my opinion, sucked. i can't say that i'm a big fan of the author. i think that his ideas are too far fetched, and sometimes ridiculous when it comes to the animal-thingies he invents. at least someone enjoyed it!

What I liked about the others' comments was that they were honest.
They read the book but it was not their favourite.
