Gentlehands - M.E. Kerr

Buddy's parents turn against him when he starts dating the rich Skye Pennington, who everybody thinks is wrong for him. He goes to his grandfather for help, even though he doesn't know very much about him, as his mother would never let him visit. As he gets tangled up in the lives of Skye and his grandfather, he discovers a secret that will change his life forever. The events of the holocaust are cleverly weaved into the story, without being the main focus. An all around great book, definately reccommended.
