The First Stone

The book is written by Don AKer. The book is about two teens named Reef and LEeza aged seventeen. Both of them are emotionaly affected by their feelings. One day Leeza was driving her van and Reef on purpose without thinking of any harm threw the rock at Leeza's van. Then Leeza was in coma but fortunately she cane out of coma. The punishment that Reef gets for doing that is that he needs to go to a new home, new school, and volunteer at a rehav centre.
The begining of the book was a little boring but ita actually got more and more interesting as book continued on. After the hearing the punishmenet do move to a new home where there are other boys in his age. The rehab centre where he goes volunteer he sees Leeza (Leexa there to get well), he helps LEeza and some other patients too. Both Leeza and Reef are starting to have feelings for each other. However both of them doesn't know that they have had a negative past together. When i was reading this part i thought to myself that the author is building suspense by making the reasder to guess how Reef and Leeza will get to know their past.
