Fanfiction! *squeals*

I'm wondering how many bloggers out there are fanfiction! writers. I used to be a regular writer, but haven't been able to keep a fic going over the last two years. For those who don't know about fanfic at all, it's fiction written based on the characters or plot of an already written media (books, movies, tv shows)...sorta like create your own sequel kind of thing. I found that the reviews i got as a writer really helped me improve my writing skills. Lately I've been attending an Ancient History class (for my own interests) and revived my love for greek/roman mythology. I do remember reading a "top ten Greek myths" book once which is simplified and humourous for some light reading. If you have an interest in mythology (and if you're younger than....14?) this book is probably best for you.

Fanfiction was a new thing to me until a couple of years ago.

Actually some of what I read could rival the original writers of the books.

This is a growing trend especially with young adults.

If you would like to give us the link for us to read some of your stuff, Isabelle, that would be great!
